URBAN ABSTRACTIONS - LOS ANGELES - SUNDAY - DEC 11, 2016

SOLD OUT - WAITING SPACE

“Abstract photography is unlike most other types of photography - rules, such as composition and accurate focusing hold no values. The abstract photographer uses his creative imagination to create works of art.” “Many abstract photos have no clear or discernible subject, while others try and make the subject appear like an entirely unlike object.”

Join Keith Skelton for a one day walk about in downtown Los Angeles discovering photo abstractions and new way of seeing. This is not “street photography” per se, but a journey of discovery to find hidden jewels that lie in front of our eyes. We will be looking for art in structures and in light. We will try to break some of our habitual ways of seeing and free some of our locked-in camera techniques.
